I know I will cry when Noam dies- but his legacy will live on- not in the same way say Gueveras legacy has been diluted and dissolved in western society. - The legacy of Noam is so strong and valable, it's impossible to ignore- whatever way one might look at it- It will always be Noam- I think we should encourage free media and formats such as this- In doing this we are honouring & nurturing intellectual free thinkers such as brother Noam- It's not over- it's just the beginning...

Fortunately man made global warming is a mythology not supported by any hard evidence... all they got is conjectural soothsaying from their digital crystal ball doomsday soothsaying... out of the last 10,500 years there were 9,100 years warmer than any year of the last 100! Now that's an inconvenient fact. Guess they were driving too many SUV's around during the Bronze Dark Ages.

I'm not sure how you mean. Chomsky's work on and definition of "Deep Structure" is one of the most actively debated principles in linguistics history. Linguistics as a whole exists in two categories: before him, and after him. He is perhaps the most widely read linguist of the 20th century. His work is often considered along with Socrates and descartes. His students, some of whom are his most ardent opposition, still consider him absolutely required reading.

luckily the search for truth will not die with him

when we lose him, I don't know how I'm gonna get the truth.
Chomsky will go down in history as either the first or the last great independent thinker in western civilization. He is peerless, unparalleled in two major fields, and a giant monkey wrench in the plans of more conspirators than I can count.
