That the problem. While the new Target Stadium looks to be goregous and will be among the top5 MLB ballparks, remember this is Minnesota where snow happens as late as April and early as early October.
IMO places like Coors Field(Denver) Jacobs/Progressive Stadium (Cleveland) Commerica (Tigers) and Great Amercan Park(Reds) should all have rectrable roofs like Skydome and Chase Field-Phoenix.(D'backs) With the world series now ending the 1st few days in Nov., it only matter of time for snowout.
28 seasons with a roof is enough. Plus the field will be heated, so April snows won't accumulate on the field. It's only the first couple weeks of the season that will suck for weather.
@torofighter The field is heated, yes, but that is only so the grass has heat to stay alive in winter months. It is not enough heat to melt snow
