I am a student of Q'ero shamanism, which is based on the teachings of the ancient Incas. The Serpent, Jaguar, Hummingbird and Eagle/Condor represent the four directions and the lessons presented by each. Last weekend we were in the North, where the hummingbird teaches us to drink directly from the nectar of life... I was inspired to create this video as a gift to my teachers and fellow students (my "allyu", which means "tribe" in Quechua)

Music: "Prayer Song" by Robby Romero of Red Thunder. See his website at: http://www.eaglethunder.com

  • I've never heard of an ayllu being referred to as a tribe. It just means a village or community where I've learned it.
