@redhead761 oddly enough, since the election, since you posted this, he has actually pandered to her brand of Republicanism in order to win his own primary for reelection. kind of ironic that she did cost him the election but in doings so moved his party further the right and forced a transformation of political survival in him all all at the same time...you know, how he is no longer and never was a maverick -- hah! to answer your question, he is probably kicking himself...

MsDreama25 - Your statement that she's qualified to be VP but not quite possibly be President doesn't make sense. The role of the VP is to serve as President should the current President die or become incapacitated. This alone was enough to make a majority of Americans vote for Obama/Biden. It would be frightening to have Palin serving as President, since she has no clue as to what's going on outside of Alaska.
