Playing 3 songs through the new Pioneer system and seeing how well the iPhone 4s records the sound. There are 2 floorstanding speakers SP-FS51-LR, SW-8 powered subwoofer (8 inch), and VSX-520 receiver. I also have the AS-BT200 adapter for the receiver which allows me to connect, via Bluetooth, to the receiver. Works with my computer, phone, ipod, anything with bluetooth. Pretty Cool. First song is "I Do" by Young Jeezy second is "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" Skrillex, and third song is "Badaboom" by Ludacris. The speakers are incredible, get extremely loud and never blare and the subwoofer gets noise complaints constantly. I have Monster Cable speaker wiring and the subwoofer cable is also Monster Cable. Great stuff. Total price of everything before tax and shipping, speakers $200, subwoofer $170, receiver $220, adapter $100. Feel free to ask any questions you have.

  • @Blanchardrs I'm a college student and have a very limited budget. I spent about $800 on everything (2 speakers, sub, receiver, bluetooth adapter, sub cable, speaker wire, banana plugs). The speakers are perfect for parties, get incredibly loud, and don't lose quality. There are 2 bookshelf speakers and a midrange speaker that I do not have but would make the whole system a 5.1 surround sound. I went to Bose and asked for something in the $600-$800 price range and they showed me an iPod dock.

  • @wtf0804 Yea, Best Buy does have them. I have yet to find a Best Buy that has them connected and working properly though.

  • @trentywenty2 Yep

  • @zackthemuscleman I would say that the Pioneer speakers will not disappoint and you cannot go wrong. My first set had a problem and Pioneer sent me 2 brand new speakers in just over 2 weeks. I wanted to stick with all Pioneer for the speakers, sub, and receiver. And I like the looks of the Pioneer floorstanding speakers a lot more than the Cerwins.

  • @Anastasiofan You cannot go wrong with these. Make sure you invest in high quality speaker wire. Mine have almost 0 feedback when they're on, no sound is playing, and the volume is maxed. I bought a spool of 50 feet Monster Cable wiring (unrated gauge) and I bought Monster Cable banana plugs, which I definitely recommend. You can get it much cheaper from Amazon than Best Buy. The subwoofer cable is also Monster Cable it costed me 50 dollars from Best Buy, also check online for that.

  • @Anastasiofan I think the receiver is 110 watts per channel or something like that. The speakers are rated for 130 watts.
