Practicing slowly is not a good technique for learning a quick piece, because then you're practicing slow bow changes and slow shifting and it becomes difficult to speed up. Instead, practice small sections of the music in time with repetition. You can also start by doubling, tripling, or quadrupling each not as necessary, but in tempo, and then working your way down to single notes from there.
