Can you only use cheesey sounds or is that to do with personal choice? Thanks

Meh..

problems
1. not easily accessible. people won't hear about it.
2. it costs as much as very high end guitars, drums etc. which means it's that much harder to sell them to people interested in becoming a first-time eigenharp musician.
if it was cheaper you would sell a WHOLE lot more, meaning people would hear about them because more people would own them. also, the closest place i could encounter one of these, if i was interested, it hundreds of miles away. get them into guitar centers

@AverySparkx The instruments you mentioned can produce sound alone. All Eigenharps are MIDI controllers, meaning they'll cost more one the long run as you need something attached to it to make sounds.Even the cheaper Pico will cost more than a full fledged 88 key midi controller.

@mr4y aren't they under $700? thats less than a drumset or guitar or piano
-
@klockdoctor Unfortunatelly, most serious working musicians can't afford one.
-
I don't really like making musik with the normal instrument but those look so freaking cool and fun, i wanna try them...
-
which frequencies, tunings and scales is it tuned to ?
-
Love to buy a Alpha or a Tau, just can't afford one, not with the economy and work situations here. Just will remain as a dream.
These two demo lads really aren't the most musical. :/ I'd love to see what someone like Squarepusher, or Jordan Rudess of Dream Theater could do with such creative scope.

@MrDaraghkinch if you search on YouTube for other Eigenharp videos, you'll find a large collection of demos made by other musicians, thanks for watching!

I have dreamed of this kind of thing for years... :O And it has existed for 8 years already? Why didn't I know of it earlier? xD

@SuperErmine the Eigenharp has been in development for 10 years now and was released to the public 2 years ago, it's not been around that long :-)
