  • Hope the Montreal Impact vs Toronto FC rivalry becomes something like Rangers vs Celtics.

  • @dwreck1971 I still stand bye that big time.Inverness are a bottom half team. And had a great record last year against the auld firm.I was giving you that as a example.Proving to you that you are wrong. This year like Dundee Utd,they are working with new players. As they lost so many last year. And the reason for that, was that they were doing so well.Players like Adam Rooney that left for Birmingham City. What is the standard wage then, for a MLS player?Who is not the star player, like Henry or Beckham

  • @legandrydirk

When you say I have no knowledge of players in SPL, I just shrug, because you're making an assumption.

  • @dwreck1971 Aberdeen has a decent squad. They just have had a bad season. With there squad they should do a lot better. The smaller teams improving like St Johnstone,St Mirren,Motherwell. Is the reason that they will struggle to get into Europe. But they can still do it,in our so called top heavy league. We should also do away with the weird split to.I look forward to see who our teams bring in.Hibs got a Irish striker called Doyle, who lots of championship teams wanted. So even a team like that attract

  • @dwreck1971 Ayr United are in a semi final,of a magor cup competition again. And knocked out,Iverness Hearts St Mirren on the way. This is why we should make our league bigger. And Inverness drew with Rangers twice last year. And drew twice and beat Celtic,if I mind right. And St Johnstone are un beaten in Glasgow this year. All our teams can beat each other.Dundee Utd won the Scottish cup,and can still beat anybody.Even though they sold most of there team last year.Aberdeen have a good squad to.

  • @dwreck1971 SPL teams out with Rangers and Celtic, are paying piss poor wages.Even Hearts will do the same next year. When they go with kids, cos they are skint. The idea that you seem to think that the other teams, are paying large wage to players is wrong. They can earn more money in the USA.They just dont want to go there,as they usually have better options.Riordan for instance choose China over USA.You have no knowledge of teams out with the SPL.Ask Cervi about playing for Greenock Morton.

In MLS, on the other hand, there is little difference between the teams because of the salary cap rules. Teams are only allowed 3 designated players. Because all the teams have to play by the same salary rules, there is little difference between the top, middle and lower part of the table, so all the teams are generally "medium." In the SPL, you have 2 great teams, a handful of medium teams, and then some teams are just plain poor (in players and $)-Just my opinion.

I think both the guys in this video said nothing but good things about Celtic and Rangers. Season after season since 1999, the SPL has been won by either team. Only ONCE has another team but Celtic or Rangers even come in second (Hearts in 05)!!! One of the guys even said there is always a couple other decent teams competing, but always falling short. You have two great teams in the SPL. 2 or 3 Good teams, but the bottom half of the table, IN MY OPINION is poor.

  • @dwreck1971 I dont under estimate you at all.I knew you would up set England.I really dont rate them that much though.Did you watch Celtic and Rangers tonight then? This video is your TV people, comparing your league with the SPL.And it stinks of a inferiority complex. We would never do a show like that here.Even when our teams play in Europe.Us fans are expected to know about the other team.USA has been playing football for about 100 years. So would have had bigger stadia back in time obviosly.

  • @legandrydirk

Why would you be mortified? People discuss the development of MLS all the time here. It is very common, as it is a growing league. Ream hasn't played enough US International games to get a work permit to play for Bolton. That's a fact. If he get's one, it will be because they made an exception, as they did for Guzan. I do watch Scottish football. Some of my closest friends are Scottish and huge Motherwell and Rangers fans. We catch the games at the pub and online.
