Jack Li, 15, 9th grade, El Segundo High School
Carnival of Venice arranged by Glaser- Rascher
(AKA the hardest carnival of venice arrangement for saxophone, with ridiculous altissimo, slap tongue, and you'll probably need to circular breathe)

Setup:
1950 silver plated Buescher Aristocrat
20's Buescher mouthpiece
Vandoren 3.5

The acoustics are kinda bad, it was an echoey room
(i look messy b/c i woke up 40 min prior and didn't have time to fix myself or straighten my hair, lol)

  • simply amazing

  • I'm a Jr. sax player in my H.S. Band. Absolutely wonderful! My only wonder is where did you learn to play like that before high school for crying out loud XD? Sounds like you picked the instrument up when you were a toddler lol.

  • Very good for 9th grade. Keep up the good work!

  • @likearc maybe even send it to me?

  • can you tell me where you got this music?

  • I am in the same year as you and i play a lot of venice and a lot of altissimo, I love how you play it! thanks for posting, i can't wait to play this version!

  • Wow. Absolutely fantastic. Ive had a bash at this myself, but you take the biscuit. Well done and I hope you go far...

  • Great job ... don't let the negative comments get you down. I've been playing from the Rascher repertoire for 40 years, and you have much to be proud of. With whom do you study?
