Before we begin, I would like to thank the Lord Jesus Christ for my life, and all the gifts which I've been given in it, including the ability to make this extension. Your name be glorified, my Savior, even in something as small as this. Amen.

Arrrr! Welcome aboard the quirky ship, Amateu'aar Extension Theat-arr Two... Two... some big number or oth'arrr! As ev-arrr, I be yer piratical host, Arrrr-kahest!

Maybe I need to cut back on the pirate lingo one of these days. Just because I never tire of it, doesn't mean the same isn't true of you. Anyways...

Soul Calibur II is a fighting game produced and developed by Namco as part of their on-going hit "Soul" series. Did you know... it was released on three kinds of consoles? Those who sought strength battled it out on X-Box, those who lived for pride played SC2 on Sony Playstation 2, and those who could read the tide of battle did so on Nintendo Gamecube. Those were the three. (If you got that ref, reward yourself with a snack of your choosing.)

'Eternal Struggle' is a lively tune heard in the stage Pirates' Alcove, an isolated cavern in which a mysterious pirate ship overflowing with gold and jewels can be found. Yet don't expect it to ever set sail again; her entire crew is said to have been slaughtered by their own captain, a man driven mad by the power of the wicked blade, Soul Edge. It is also said that anyone foolish enough to visit the alcove, may soon find themselves crossing blades with that vile captain, who is determined to see to it that 'dead men tell no tales'...

Of course I'm talking about long-time series antagonist, Cervantes de Leon. (Note: I love pirates, but am no fan of his. Monster of a guy. Good stage tune, though.) The original owner of Soul Edge, Cervantes used its vile power to carve out a vicious swath of destruction the world over. Even death didn't quite stop him; as it is, he now wanders as a cursed, ghostly pirate, seeking to reclaim his lost blade and begin tormenting people anew...

Probably because of the artwork featured at 11:58. D'awww, who's the cutest widdle ghost piwate ever? Heh, nice hat, Cervy. Hey, that rhymes with scurvy! Man, I'm too easily amused at times. As a note of mild interest, Cervantes does indeed appear in "Pirates' Alcove" as an opponent, but also shares the stage (pirates share?) with another warrior named Maxi. Didn't read up on him, though; sorry about that, Max. I'm sure you're an interesting guy and all.

There are a few other SC2 themes I like and may get around to extending at some point in the future, we'll see. For now, let's sail on towards that infinite horizon, dreaming of what we may find there... yo-ho, yo-ho, mateys!
