Nikko, Japan. Tochigi prefecture. Taking a short 'time out' to rest, I went to Nikko. A small mountain town in Tochigi prefecture. These are the clips I shot during the visit.

Please note that the Shakuhachi is played by Marco Lienhard from the Album 'Leonard and his friends' (which you can buy from iTunes). I don't know the man myself but love his music and thus think he deserves to get 'plugged' here. In a way this video could be viewed as tribute to his skills and to a Japan that is disappearing little by little.

Nikko is such a beautiful place!!! I went there a few months ago and I fell in love with this place! In octobre I will be there again... Btw, the melody of the music played there is the mononoke hime theme song, isn't it?
