@hockeylover246-I'm an Independent and I voted for Obama but this is really unimportant. But you also have to look at the date this was 3 years ago before the elections and they were for Obama. Like you said, there are bigger fish to fry like the economy, war, etc.

@terrelya83 your comment should be voted top comments but these guys are busy acting like woman talking what he said about what religion he is !!! DEMOCRATS GET A LIFE FOCUS ON THE ISSUES!!!!! i have no money to buy my self anything cuz of this crappy economy and these sitting there talking about what religion McCain said he was
-
Can I ask why this is so important?
-
This IS sad...WHY...because of reporters like you guys..why does a public figure have to change his mind every corner he turns...CAN YA GUESS WHY ?
-
True. It was a poor analogy drawn from his personal experience.
Nevertheless there is sufficient difference between Episcopalian and Baptist for John McCain not to be confused between them. The point is well made, here and elsewhere, that John McCain lied during the campaign.
-
Since McCain gets confused between Al-Qaeda and Iran why wouldn't he get confused between Episcopalian and Baptist?
-
we are not even officially in a war, nor have we been since WWII, all "wars" since, have just been executive decisions.

That is the whole point for Mcain. He was so desperated that he changed his religion to gain the baptist vote. Religion might matter in terms of views that might influence state views. Many hols extreme religious views and try to smack into the state. Either way you are also right. Why does it matter if his episcopelation? Because many Babtist dislike catholics and episcopalians. To the point the are not considered Christians by them. Crazy.
