johns singing performance is waaaaaay better on this live version. more raw and less polished than the studio version.

Great historical vid! I've heard other BBC takes of their songs (and they're all great), but never this one. There is a "Live at The BBC" compilation album from 1962 to 1965, where the Beatles performed live on the BBC featuring not only their own songs but other popular songs from other artists (Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Carl Perkins, Ray Charles and Buddy Holly, to name a few), but unfortunately this song didn't make the cut. Again, THANKS again for the post!

The flip side to A Hard Day's Night. This is one of my all-time Beatles favorites. I feel that had this been released as an A-side single, it would have hit #1.
