Lyn does a cover version of the classic most closely associated with Dusty Springfield; written by Barry Mann/Cynthia Weil and produced by Gerry Granahan, arranged by Artie Butler.

This stereo vinyl track is from her 1968 OOP Dot LP "The Greatest Roman Of Them All" - For those of you not familiar with this trivia bit: Lyn started out singing as Linda Griner, perhaps best known for her Motown recording of "Goodbye Cruel Love" (written & produced by Smokey Robinson).

  • a very nice tune love it

  • Love Linda aka Lyn. 'Envious', the 'b' side of 'Goodbye Cruel Love', is one of the best Motown tracks ever. It too was written by Smokey.
