The audio recording is from the CD "Absolutely Nothing: Chicago Poets Against The War" (ChicagoPoetry.com Press). The reading was recorded by Bill DuPree and co-sponsored by ChicagoPoetry.com and PoetryPoetry.com, in February, 2003, just prior to the invasion of Iraq. In the second poem, legendary Chicago poet CJ Laity accuses George Bush of having something to do with the 9/11 attacks. This was WAY before any of the "inside job" theories began to emerge.
