The original song was not only painful but was also deadly dull and lifeless. Actually when u heard the original song it sounds as if a DEAD person was singing it. The song was intentionally sung like that so that it can reflect sadness, grief, sorrow, regret,distress.pain and misery.
This girl has sung the song painfully but a little LIVELY(full of life and energy). The original song was sung in a deadly manner / way / style.

This song needs to sound dull like the original one so that it can reflects sadness/ sorrow/ darkness. Movie Fashion shows us only the darker side of life. This song needs to sound depressed, demoralise and spiritless. Those who have watchd movie Fashion will agree with me.
