Who said she cant be both a mother and any of the jobs stated in the video? I feel that when I go to work as an RN at night after spending all day wiping butts and cooking meals I am being a great mother because im being a great role model for my daughter and encouraging her to educate herself and have a work ethic and passions outside the home. Shirley can be anything..she can be a mother and the president of the USA. Who doesnt want that mind set for their kid especially their daughter?

I agree that being a mom is world changing (as a mom myself). BUt I think the point is to mention the roles that are not typically associated with girls. Kudos again to the new Sesame Street for this video. This falls right behind "I Love My Hair" for the girls in my house.

I'm kind of disappointed that being a mother isn't considered a world changing career choice. Where would everyone be without a mother/mother figure?
