I have been riding rollers for many many years now, so I have kinda know what I'm talking about. 1. Start in a bigger gear because the faster you go the more the gyration of your wheels will help you balance. Another reason you should start in a bigger is is that you won't have to worry about shifting, which can take a while to get used too on rollers, especially with areo bars. 2. Move the front roller forward a couple of inches. 3. Pick a spot on the wall to help you keep your focus. Cheers
Try riding a couple feet in front of a TV, watching your favorite show and focus on keeping your balance, do not use clips or clipless-shoes until you've gained enough experiance keeping your balance on the roller. Ride at a comfortable pace, not too fast or too slow. If you fall over, just fall over; putting something to land on the floor makes getting back up difficult and mostly frustrating. Do not use your aerobars, change your gears before you get on. Increase your cadence for more speed.
