In Ubuntu 9.10 the keyring asks for your password each time you log in so it can connect to a wireless network. This video shows a quick and simple way to fix this issue, so you can connect to your network automatically.

Mainly, this video was meant as a way to get back into making video tutorials again, considering I haven't made one in two years. The only problem I see with using Cheese to show myself on-screen is the lag. It may just be because my webcam is old, so the frame rate and responsiveness isn't very good. If you know a way to fix that please let me know in the comments.

  • I was installing Peppermint OS yesterday and I hope that will fix it. That keyring is really annoying! Thanks for that tip!

  • Top man for that, been bugging me for yonks my fave distro is still Mint 7, everything since seems to just have more little bugs like this. Cheers :)
