I want to know something: what is your problem? I've been researching this kid's videos for an assignment, and you've posted on several others I've watched. First of all, I don't know how you "sucker" someone into sponsoring you. He did it, didn't he? Secondly, OF COURSE he stopped and experienced the ports. What good is a trip around the world if you don't see the world? Unless you've circumnavigated the globe, I really don't think you have any right to make judgements.

This kid did nothing more than go on a sponsored paid for, year long vacation. He suckered all those people into sponsoring his circumnavigation and all he ended up doing was stopping at every exotic port. He was gone a year. If he hadn't stopped so much to party with the locals, the trip would have only taken half as long.

Now his sister is going to do the same thing. Some family. Wants to see the world as long as someone else pays the bills.

I'm assuming you (lewisjkool) mean the WSSRC, which is the body that keeps track of speed sailing records and such... Zac wouldn't get the world record because they don't keep records for the youngest circumnavigator. There isn't an official record for this. But he did circumnavigate and was the youngest.

Unlucky m8 u failed to get the world record as you used your engine to get out of docks and didnt follow any official around the world routes. This mean that the wwsrc didnt recognise it but well done for trying.

or he's had everything handed to him, including the boat, the time to learn to sail, and the money to pull this off.
