RTS means Real Time Speedrun, implying that there was no saving or loading of states.

It's called "luck manipulation". You save, do the segment and if some luck based thing in the game doesn't go the way you want, you just reload until it does. This may not use savestates (saving about every 10 seconds) but it's still segmented (almost always autosaves)

An RTS speedrun? Wouldn't you just call it a speed run? I mean, if it isn't tool-assisted, it isn't a TAS, so what else would it be :p?
