A rare live track, only performed on the Heathen and Reality tours, (2002, 2003-2004) Orginally appeared on the 1971 Hunky Dory album. Album version is much better in my opinion, but a rare live track nonetheless vauleable for any Bowie Nut

  • As for invective, that often says a lot about a person's grasp of the English language.

  • Note that I made no comment as to the quality of the recording or performance, both of which are excellent, I also did not compare the live version to the original. I do stand by my original comment. If I want to hear the album version of a song which, in my opinion, may or may not be the better version, I will listen to the album. If I go to see Bowie live I want something more than a living juke box. I believe Bowies intent was to entertain. Bring back real reading and real understanding.

  • As for being a dickwad:

artist - a person who produces works of art, especially painting; (or) a person who does something with exceptional skill (or) a professional entertainer.

artiste - a professional entertainer. (The Oxford English Dictionary 1995 paperback edition).

  • @KillerBill1953 Fuck off Killer billy & elblowto. He's entitled to his opinion you dick wads.Your assuming what his expectation are, besides it's all subjective ! Bring back real ARTISTS and proper spelling.

  • Killerbill could not have said it any better

  • If you expect a live version to sound the same as the album version then what is the point of live performances? An amazing song from a brilliant album by one of the best singer/songwriters to have ever "made it". Forget your X-Factor and Britain's Not Got Talent, bring back real artistes.

  • @mariofarecraft2 Crazy to think how this is a highlight of an album full of songs that is filled with amazing songs. :P

  • Where can I get this track?

  • Thanks for uploading this. Great to hear a different version from the studio one on Hunky Dory, each of which has its different charms.

  • @hutchieboy5 Recommend the second side of "Hunky Dory".....all of it is great, but this one is the sleeper.
