Directed By Jeff Burr (Leatherface: TCM 3? )
Cool little slasher flick about a warlock who embodies a scarecrow to get revenge and recover his book to bring him back to full power. The death scenes are fun and you may recognize a few actors here and there. The scarecrow has an especially niffy kill at the end of the film, did i mention he starts to wise crack a but half way through. Viewers may enjoy the orgy that takes place in the back story.
Nothing new to say, but still) The movie is fucking brutal. Saw it as a kid, and it scared the living shit out of me. So, 10 years passed and i got to see it again. The atmosphere is deep and disturbing, fx are gory and painful to watch, so it's really a must-see. Well done, Jeff Burr.

I liked Night of the Scarecrow. Jeff Burr lives in Dalton, Georgia which is about 10 minutes from where I live. A friend and I made a short film called Kamra (which is in post production.) Jeff Burr helped us with in a Producer/Consultant role.. He is a very busy guy which makes contacting him difficult at times, but he was a major help. He is a really good guy and talented filmmaker. If you want to see some of his better stuff check out The Stepfather 2, Eddie Presley, or Staight Into Darkness.
