@fac3308 Not FROM someone ending a question with a preposition. lol JOKER! I have it on good audthority, that most people who work as police men or women have little to no college under their belts, much hardly any kind of degree. As for military experience, substantial, as in the number of years, yes. Very rarely are is their experience substantial, as in, of solid character or quality. In fact, it's an insult to our military to even refer to what police the US today as "officers."

Where do you get your info from? Most Officers hold at least an AA under their belt and many have BA’s and Masters degrees. Many applicants do not make the hiring process because the selection process weeds out allot of people for various reasons. Only 3% make the cut. If you have approximately 33,000 people apply each year, very few get selected. Many Officers have substantial military experience. Your comments smell like sour grapes.

More likely he'll be in segregation for about two months and then sent home on good behavior, home arrest or parole.
If it was state jail, that means 2 years, no parole in there.
