My Argument in support of a Health Care Reform Bill that includes a STRONG PUBLIC OPTION.
A public option in health care reform is not an option for health care reform. It is a necessity for affordable health care in this country. The insurance industry has already informed Congress that health care cost will increase if the Health Care Reform Bill passed out of the Senate Finance Committee is passed. The bill out of the above-mentioned committee did not include a public option.
Therefore, its time that Congress stood and delivered a strong Health Care Reform Bill that includes a public option. The Senate should pass the bill by any means necessary (51 or 60 votes).
I believe that it is also time that President Obama takes a public position and/or stand for a bill that includes a public option even if Senator Snowe votes against the final bill.
Having the Republicans (even one) support health care reform would be wonderful. Having one member of the Republican Party support the bill is not more important that providing every American affordable health care coverage as a right and not a privilege.

1st off! The Public Option would be subsidized off "private cadillac plans" thus raising costs of them as well raise cap gains taxes to 25-40% and income tax 35-60% and would kill the middleclass who would lose their employer based healtcare and benefit the corporations that drop us cut costs.
WHY NOT PROTEST PROPERTY TAX COSTS THAT HAVE RISEN 200x FASTER than SALARYS? That Govt. you so wanna grow and take care of you and be your "massa" wil throw you out your home YOU DONT PAY IT!

If you want to save money, DO NOTHING! PURE capitalism has made everything more available to the people! If The Government just bought everyone a Car back in 1920 we would be driving $ 500,000 Model T's Still!! Competition Lowers Costs and Raises Quality!

No, the stimulus bill your President signed allowed AIG to get their bonuses. You do remember he was choking mad & shocked? Maybe he didn't read the bill either. I know, he ran around the country telling everyone those bad players wouldn't get rewarded with bonuses yet his words did not reflect his actions. I think that woke up many to the brand of legislation we can expect. With so many campaign promises broken, I'm done listening to the rhetoric. Biggest mistake was losing credibility.

I get it now, HarryCare + PelosiCare = ObamaCare
To make it simple for you with limited educations: HarryCare is short and does not have enough girth and lacks the stamina to deliver. Now they have to insert Harry(Care) into Pelosi(Care) and what will come out of this is Obama(Care). Its the healthcare version of RoseMarys Baby!
