Field Editor Chris Marshall shows a trick for perfectly spaced dados without time-consuming measurements. This trick applies to a table saw blade organizer featured in the September/October 2010 issue of Woodworker's Journal magazine, but can be easily adapted for many other projects.

  • Using a block as a constant for spacing is fine but anyone who's ever used a clamping fence knows that it cannot be used reliably as shown in the vid. Why? The fence will move (a lot) when you clamp it.
