The Queer East is the world's first exhibit focused on Asian LGBT history. Created by The History Project, Boston's LGBT history group, the exhibit celebrates our Asian LGBT community through a series of multimedia profiles that explore issues related to sexuality, cultural identity, family, politics, racism, relationships, and other topics.
This initial version of The Queer East features profiles of performing artist Sudarshan Belsare and activist Jacob Smith Yang. We are hoping to expand the exhibit to encompass as many as 12 profiles, but to do so we need your financial support. We invite you to join us on our journey into The Queer East, and hope you will be moved to contribute toward our efforts to expand this groundbreaking exhibit.
