@marcopolo1012 If you do not see SigmaTel, then just try the process with a different audio driver, whatever your computer has on it already. I only specified SigmaTel, because that's the one that worked for me. good luck

WTF when i look in my god damn device manager file there is NO, sound gaming controllers its just not there wtf is there any solution?!

"an error occurred during the installation of this device" It says that the sigmatel codec was not installed! I uninstalled it due to the feedback and disabled it etc and then wanted to reinstall and update the driver (the feedback was horrible and squealing). Now it is completely gone? I am running Vista.
