  • When i go down in add hardware i do not see sigma tel

  • @marcopolo1012 If you do not see SigmaTel, then just try the process with a different audio driver, whatever your computer has on it already. I only specified SigmaTel, because that's the one that worked for me. good luck

  • "an error occurred during the installation of this device" It says that the sigmatel codec was not installed! I uninstalled it due to the feedback and disabled it etc and then wanted to reinstall and update the driver (the feedback was horrible and squealing). Now it is completely gone? I am running Vista.
