You realize they do this at the factory right? Super hot distilled water.. but still done with water..

leaving itto dry 24-48 hours is NOT a good idea, the oxidation starts building soon, and if you don't get the water out of the gaps with compressed air it will definitely rust slowly,
we often come acrross pc's which have worked for months with soup or coffee in them, then the rust has eaten away joints

Actually if you let it dry very well for like 24-48 hours it can possibly still work

we dried it for only 30 min with a fan-and it worked ! :D
