@lMusicAndMadnessl Thanks for the explanation. It's certainly an interesting, even beautiful sound -- for a little while. But a steady diet of it would become tiresome. After a while, I'd crave the purity of sound from a traditional bow.

This is just the sound recorded by an ordinary camcorder.
In other words this is the rich sound of the curved bow.
