I never understood how running for office makes you competent.....how many people run against an encombent? Do people just don't run because someone is already in office? Does not make sense to me

I also wonder about the democrat leadership. Is Nancy Pelosi the worst speaker of the house ever? Chuck Schumer, Harry Reid, and Barney Frank have in separate instances caused billions to trillions of market capitol to disappear. Those blunders are getting to be treasonous. Are they smart ?
