Prelude: Chamber 7 - 7 seconds

This is definately the fastest its going to get. I was honestly struggling to get this time because with a perfect run it still only scrapes 7 seconds.

sweet. I just spent 45 minutes trying to cut my time down to 8 seconds, got it on fraps, uploaded it to youtube.... and then see this video in the related videos section. But unlike this video, i dont use any portals

He uses a bug in the half life 2 engine. It is possible to gain such a speed by bunny hopping. In Episode 2 and Portal (-prelude) Valve tried to disable it, but only did for moving forward. So you have to move backwards to get that fast, waht makes it look very wired.
