@bulginder you are an idiot with that stupid answer
-
I like how the video end "Oh Shh"
-
"The best spotter in the world cannot react quickly
enough to save you from a dropped bar. The danger of this cannot truly be appreciated until one
sees the effects of a dropped bar firsthand. If you insist on using a thumbless grip on the bench,
you need to do it at home, so that when the ambulance comes (if anyone is there to call 911) it
doesn't disrupt anyone else's training." -Mark Rippetoe
only thing the spotter could've done is correct the grip beforehand
-
did he die?????????????
-
that was very disturbing....i hope that he ended up ok
-
good job stupid ass u see what thumbless grip do to you
-
If you do not know your calculated 1RM you should not be doing free weights and I wouln't spot someone who does not know either. And a thumbless grip????
-
It happens too quick to react. The spotter is responsible of not too much other than advising against the suicide grip. But if he doesn't wanna listen then whatever.
-
holy shit, ive heard stories of people dying like that
what the hell is the spotter doing?
-
OMG!! That fell straight onto his neck! Would have killed him for sure.
Seems some people here don't realize the idiot was using a thumbless grip on a bench press - that automatically puts all the blame on the guy attempting the lift, and makes the accident a result of sheer stupidity.
