These are the elevators at the tallest hotel in St. Louis. These elevators must have had a controller issue. There was a line of people waiting for the elevators in the lobby, so I went down to the basement to go up. I went past the lobby TWICE without stopping!

  • I remember these elevators. When I stayed here awhile back, these elevators were really busy.

  • They were when I was here too. This was actually one of the few times I can remember when I got a full trip up and down alone.

  • For some systems, if another elevator has its doors open and picking up passengers at the Lobby it will simply let all others pass through it.

  • That is most likely what happened, I guess I was just extremely lucky that it happened twice! This was probably the only time I got a full trip up and down without stopping the whole time I stayed here.
