The final match of Day 14 from Tokyo and it's another doozy!

After the stunning defeat of undefeated Hakuho by Kotooshu in the previous bout, we now turn our attention to 12-1 yokozuna Asashoryu taking on 12-1 ozeki Harumafuji. Once again, it's a battle of two Mongolians, who happen to be my two favorite wrestlers in SUMO.

A great finish to a great day of SUMO - watch and enjoy!

  • Been watching the slo-mo replay over and over, but Asashoryu could've easily dislocated his right shoulder. I mean, he went down HARD!! And unike the pro-wrestling ring, there's abolutely no give in the Dohyo (sumo ring.) I really hope he's not seriously injured. Very sportsman-like for Haru to remail by Asa's side until he could muster his strength to get up...

    Unbelievable match!!!!

  • he was really taped up for today's final match, but he competed well. Look for me to post it within the next 24 hours.

  • @D5932 hoorondoo Mongoloor oo yruul goy shuu tee? Ug ni yr geed ovog deedes maan Mongol heltei bolgood l ogson yum baigaam.

  • sry , but most of the wrestlers from mongolia are from same "town" which is the capital of mongolia.

  • There is a great chance this wrestle is rigged. They are both from same hometown grown up drinking same Toul river water one has 10 giant cups another has not yet one so it is a duty of hometown brothers to support one another.

  • oh my god.. that's a lot of dirt.. way to go, Ama, hehehe

  • YESSSSS!!!! What a fantastic win for Harumafuji. That was a very impressive slam. Looks like he knocked the wind out of the Yokozuna and possibly hurt his leg? Well, well, well, what a turn of events. Both Yokozuna losing in the same day to 2 Ozeki. You hardly see that at any basho. Can't wait for the day 15 matches.
