  • I'm sorry -- but -- the first generation of TSX was very docile, conservative and boring. Even the new Civic is more inspiring.

The 09 TSX is much more aggressive, more luxurious inside and just an all around better drive (wider, longer, nice suspension, better equipped etc etc)

The grill takes a while to grow on you, but I think it's just a few months ahead of it's time. Let's revisit this a year from now...

    09 TSX = HOT car

  • this ad alone convinced me to go test drive the new TSX!

  • @cdnstache More like 2 steps forward. Acura did a great job in limiting the road noise, the suspension is a lot smoother, the engine feels way more refined, the chassis feels a lot more structured, the interior is a lot more luxurious, and the car is wider. The last gen TSX looked as though it would blow over to its side from a gush of wind. And to top it all off, the low end torque of this car is superbbb compared to the mid revving, twitchy engine of the last gen.

  • @cdnstache The handling over the previous models weren't that great my friend. I know you'd like to believe it, but it just wasn't.

Also, of course the steering of the new tsx is twitchy. It's electronic controlled which makes it also more responsive and agile compared to last gen

The interior of this tsx feels like a luxurious cockpit, and very refined panel. The previous model was too bland, and way too boring.

This is coming from a G35 owner btw. I have yet to test drive the v6 model.

  • the marketing guys over at acura got skills

  • I agree, much bigger fan of the older ones.

  • The 2009 TSX is an utter disappointment...styling, interior materials, handling. It completely misses the mark. I had a 2004 TSX and traded up to a 2008 with Navigation...I would never part with it for the so called "new" generation TSX which is 2 steps backwards. The 2004 to 2008 TSX is a timeless classic that gives a clinic to the 2009.

  • As a former RSX and 06 TSX owner, and now an 07 TL owner, I find it a disservice the ad agency cheapened the TSX image by falsely modifying the TSX disarm with a 1980 aftermarket chirp. Also they did the same technique with the engine acceleration. A TSX does NOT make these sounds for disarm or for acceleration. I'm just pointing this out because it is a superb vehicle and it makes the car appear like a cheap racer.

  • i test drove one the other day, and i must admit i am verrrry impressed. Acura did a great job on the car, very responsive, great in the snow (chicago area is bad), but we are picking one up this saturday, it will be replacing a 2003 honda cr-v, parents cant wait to get rid of my cr-v. great car for me tho, 17 and a fast driver, but this car isnt to fast to kill myself in.

  • awesome ad :))
