I saw this film when I was 8 years old. It was the fourth movie I'd seen and I didn't have a TV. I had no filter and it gave me nightmares for years. If you have to scare people into your faith - it isn't working. This film is why I don't belong to a church.

@casper4722 I was also traumatized by this film as a child. I feel sorry for you. I was eventually able to undo the sick and twisted brainwashing that was performed by the extremely disturbed individuals who created this filth and marketed it to children. It sounds like your still unable to break free. Don't lose hope, it took me many years to finally free my mind. I know what it is to have those areas of thought you dare not think. I know the fear you feel. Do not fear it anymore.

RayHuong: I feel bad for you that you were traumatized as a child by this film. I do not think this film should be shown to young children. Older teenagers and young adults are a better audience. I did view this film many times as a young adult. The good news about all of this is that God has provided a way to escape the horrors of the tribulation. And Scripture does teach that it will be a horrible time. Salvation is found in the blood of Jesus, not in our works of righteousness.

Evangelical Christians should read through the comments below. Lots of children, including myself, were traumatized by this film. We were told it was an accurate portrayal of what was going to happen in the future. For many years I suffered panic attacks, terrified I'd been "left behind".
Why would anyone use fear tactics to convert people to the message of Christ's love? Is God the author of fear? Our minister believed in scaring children into the faith. It was a form of abuse.

@lillypadstudio i receive that in the name of Jesus! but remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear. before those days come, Jesus WILL return and come to pick up you, me, and all of his other children. those who werent ready will have to face those times. so what do we do? always be ready so that we wont be caught off guard like Patty was. :) as long as we have faith, we will NEVER see the days of tribulations to come. Jesus is with you and I and will keep all of that away from us.

@Itsuchi2 I just got crazy chills that you mentioned that to me because when I was seven years old when I would nap I would see those crazy black and white images and wake up freaked out. I never knew what they were until I saw them for phones and it was clear to me that they were something for me to stay away from. I get scared too because I dont fast often enough and I will not be able to buy food one day. God please give us the strength and courage to overcome in Jesus name amen

@lillypadstudio aww man! theres more than that! ever notice what QR codes are? they are little small, usually 1" x 1" squares that can be scanned from any smart phone. they used to be rare, but now you see them on EVERYTHING! who knows! its only a matter of time before they show up on ppls hands or foreheads too! no one said there WOULDNT be a physical mark!! :/ so yeah! I live so scared of life, but yet so fearless because I know WHO'S side I am on. I know that Jesus is going to take me home
