  • @KarateKidX though i bandwidth is limited on a network, what was his actual point?

  • THERE IS THIS NEW THING CALLED TELEPHONE

    YOU CAN TALK INSTANTLY!

  • He was talking for 2 and a half minutes, and I still don't know what he's talking.

  • @r31ncarnat3d

The common analogy is "pipes" but pipes indeed are tubes,

What it refers to is bandwidth which is analogous to the amount of fluid that can flow through a pipe at any particular time.

The calculations that apply to fluid flowing through a series of tubes can also be applied to traffic over a network.

  • @r31ncarnat3d

    His analogy is accurate

  • Ostensibly one of the most powerful people on the planet thought it took him a day to get an email because youngsters are clogging up the internet with videos.

  • 'Ten movies streaming across that internet, and what happens to your own personal internet?"

Yes, the internet exists physically and there is a limited supply of it and every person with a computer owns a certain amount of internet. That's how it works.

  • oh wow, how awesome is he lol
