By Greg Miller -- Investigative Reporter
NORTH BRADDOCK, PA -- According to a North Braddock citizen, Richard Schussler, two North Braddock police officers entered into his apartment and arrested him while using excessive force. On May 2009 the police officers arrested Schussler and charged him with aggravated harassment by a prisoner, terrorstic threats, false alarm to agency of public safety and resisting arrest. Most of the charges were dropped.
Schussler stated he was having problems installing a ham radio antenna because local officials ordered him to remove the radio antenna that was authorized under his FCC ham radio license. Schussler believes the city officials are retaliating for this incident.
PCC staff went to the North Braddock Police Department to speak to the police officers involved. The police chief was off work on the day of the visit. This is an ongoing investigation.
