Our democracy is still very young, the ANC has been for decades the only voice available for blacks to express themselves on a large scale.The majority of South Africans are ignorant as to how a democracy works so still use the ANC as a safe Party not knowing of any other option.

You could spend every moment of the rest of your life apologizing for apartheid, and it wouldn't be enough. Every White person in SA could donate every penny they had to Black South Africans and it wouldn't be enough. Blacks will never get over apartheid. Never. lol well it makes sense that you feel this way, trust me the blacks felt 100 times WORSE than you are feeling, so consider yourself EXTREMELY lucky that you at least have the opportunity to say something-Blacks were not that lucky. Also, how best do you think the situation could have been dealt with? How would you make sure that everyone is EQUAL without having the white people complain and become intimidated? Is there a better and less painful way than Affirmative Action, BEE etc?
