In America in 2007, men were more likely to be in an accident leading to injury at 1 in 59.92, with women at 1 in 77.38

So yes, men are indeed involved in more accidents than women, despite the stereotype.

@AquariaDesign Got that off answer.com did you? Not sure what country that's from (no doubt the answerers arse), but where I live men are more likely to have accidents because they tend to drive more recklessly, break laws, and speed. Men are 50% more likely to have driving violations than women.

Also, in 2002, Men were involved in 48,638 (2.2) crashes, compared to women's 14,633 (1.7) crashes.

@Clarrisani Women have 5.7 accidents per million miles while men have 5.2 accidents per million miles. Less accidents despite out numbering women on the road and statistically driving more miles than women.
