  • Marcin had made a "revenge" :) and won GFA 2007 last night. I had chance to watch this guy play and it is amazing. Marcin play a cedar top from the same luthier, not the spruce this time.

  • Wow, fantastic! I was wondering how we would be able to afford to present him. I will be calling Lynn, shortly. ;-)

  • Anyway I put it, Marcin Dylla still gave an enjoyable performance and I congratulate him.

  • Yes, Very Enjoyable!!!

  • The sections that I see that Marcin rushed were actually the slow sections. I bet if he had the piece really memorized he would've been playing the fast sections with more confidence. Marcin seems to have some parts of the piece memorized. He is not always looking down at the score. There are times in the performance when you hear tiny squeaks of a note. This is probably due only to the fact that those slow sections are still not thoroughly learned and he is half reading them.

  • You are very observant.

  • who wants the score? :D

  • I think it is because people are used to listen "CD guitarists" and not go to any concert at all. That create really high expectations that no guitarist can achieve. Anyway, I guess it's just ignorance.
