  • i did not know that so many airlines used hpn- can you connect to like intern flights like to asia from ord or det on northwest i live in new roc- its a lot less hassels to fly out of a small airport. we are overniteing in chi- or - sea -or sfo. we like to take a break flying to thialand, nice vid you see, now we would fly out of westchester airport.

  • Thanx man, Yeah when i first went to Westchester, i was really suprised on how many cities and flights take off of here. It does not go ot anywhere outside of the country, i know it goes to Flordia with Jetblue, and Chicago all the time.

  • Hey. Nice vid. The last time i personaly flew this aproach was in december of 07. Did you know that there is a dip in the runway?

  • Yeah when we turned i remember seeing the lower part in the runway, its purty crazy

  • WOW !! Look at the size of those houses and office complezes.

  • @airman355 There used to be an Air Canada flight to Toronto, although this service has been discontinued, from what I heard

  • Did he bounced on his landing?

  • Haha yeah. I will be flying a L39 Albatross out of KHPN. I think I win XD

  • Well, the runway is roughly 1,000FT shorter than La Guardia, and just over 1,000FT longer than John Wayne (SNA), there has to be more to it than runway length, as there was still a decent distance of runway after that turnoff point.

  • small airport, small runway.

  • ive seen them:) one was next to me, but i was on an e-190 :-P

  • Actually, its considered an INTL because it has Air Canada and flies to Toronto i believe. And the JB flight is the best probably. I heard they are flying their A320 out of there. Thats gotta be a sight to see!
