where did you get those large gears? i built one out of just one nxt set and am surprised that two motors can move and steer a quadruped with a third motor, nxt brick and all sensors aboard!

I got them from another Technic set. Actually, this dog uses only two motors. The tail moves because of one of the walking motors.

My stops after the first steps too then goes, then stops, then goes etc. i tried to downlod robot c but download didnt work

Cool to hear that you built it. What you describe sounds correct - that's a limitation of the programming software.

Great you built it. You are right about the pauses. The program in this video was the RobotC program. You've probably used the NXTG one. Does it walk well?
