@iwijon 3,500 miles??!!..ever try brighton lol..its a helluvalot closer not as nice in my opinion but still decent..WHEW thats a hike well i live in spring lake(next to belmar) which is even stricter than belmar is but it keeps the bullshit down to a minimum and really..theres not too many places left in this country where you can feel this kind of security and quality of life and i certainly wouldnt change it.. so have fun and keep coming back;)

I travel 3500 miles from Wales Uk every year to Belmar with my family, we all love it and think it's the best place on earth. Thank goodness there are still rental properties available for us. We also like watching the young people party and have never been bothered by them. We were all young once!

I lived in Belmar year round for 10 years and fully understand this law. It's not about keeping vacationers from having fun, it's about insuring they don't do it in a manner that infringes on the quality of life for the rest of us. I had to clear empty beer bottles off my lawn all the time, saw guys pissing in my bushes and even found 2 people having sex on my porch. Have all the fun you want folks, just be a little respectful of the neighborhood and it's residents.

I agree with you! Acutally in the 70's Belmar was a blast. The 80's it got trashed by city "ganstas" that were booted out. Now it's over kill with the "unruly" shit. If they don't like it they shouldn't live were you know young people are creating there own memories...like the old farts did in there day.
