much prefer the sunrise mix, but one thing that draws me back to this mix is the way the bass line comes in at 3:48 awsome

I see a lot about the slow/boring intro. Let's not forget the primary purpose of these tracks: wrecking the dancefloors. Dancer fatigue is a concern for DJs, and slow intros give them a chance to go grab a drink with the girl they were grinding against last song, and then go back out when it picks up again. If it's nonstop all the time, they get tired after 30 minutes and go home. So perhaps for Youtube it's a slow intro, but in context it's perfect. If you're the DJ, you can always edit it out.
