It was on the chair behind him I think... Still dont understand how it would fall though!
But anyone know what song he was playing? Ill assume One With Everything...? Cause it has those 'fills,' but still I dont know...

it wasnt on his thighs, he had it on a stand or chair next to the kit and it fell off

Funny, he makes excuses for being excellent!! I really love the way this guy plays..whether he screwed up or not! But why did he have a laptop on his thighs if he was playing drums??

Aw man, I figured his techs would have kept a way better eye out for this stuff! ehh maybe its not their fault, bad luck! Either way, I cant wait for the DVD of MD fest 09 to come out!!

Todd, you brought the house down. What you exprienced is something that all of us drummers experience. The only thing I wanna say is... if you didn't stop after the first "flub" nobody would have known. Sure, it might have been a timing issue but is was recoverable without notice, which I'm sure you know as you look back.
