  • I am about 5ft 6in and get my low end suits from a company called FARAH in el paso, Texas. I think they are mainly sold I'm England. I also am not sure if they are still made.

  • @FORBESfucksyou Thanks for sharing the tip!

  • For smaller men looking for better fitting suits on a budget in America, I find Alfani at Macy's to be good for its price. It's a cheaper suit ($250 ish if you catch it on sale for the whole suit) but I've personally never found a suit at that price point that fits better. Their clothing tends to be geared towards slimmer builds, especially the "Red" (Alfani's name for the slim category, not the color) suits.

  • @AnomalyTea Thanks for the recommendation!

  • I have the exact same weight/height as mentioned in this video and I purchased many suits from topman in the UK and have them sent to me in Australia. They have excellent suits that fit very well. Try their size 36 or even 34 in their skinny suit range.

  • @ozcapital Appreciate your taking the time to share the recommendation!

  • @Yunituber There's definitely no substitute for custom tailoring. But finding the right brand can go a long way, especially for a guy on a budget.

  • I've always shared the same problem mention in the video. Too slim, and nothing fitted. Although I never had those problems with suits (when I used to wear them) because they were custom made, I had with bottom up shirts and pants.

What I did realize after a while, was that there are some brands that DO fit us [slim types] well. Find a brand that suits you, find stores that sells it - it will probably have other brands that will fit your body type well.

And yes, Italian clothes are heaven!

I have about the same measurements as mentioned, zara size 46 fits me like a glove. Plus they are on sales so basically you could have a nice jacket for 50US.

Very true, considering a waist size over 38 in. could land you a hefty fine or losing your job over in Japan.
