Autodesk Labs AutoCAD in the Cloud Demo

Project Twitch is a technology preview on Autodesk Labs for trying Autodesk design applications by running them in the cloud. To ensure a reasonable experience, the system checks for sufiicient internet bandwidth. This video depicts the process for those who computing environment does not meet the system requirements. Thank you for the suggestion. I have passed it on to the team. Interoperability with desktop applications is something we ant to improve.

At this point we wanted feedback on the latency so we used vanilla AutoCAD to elicit that. Since we want to use software as a service to let people try new versions of our applications, we are considering many of our design applications.

@backtothefuture12345 The python scripting capabilities have been disabled in the version of Maya deployed for Project Twitch. This is not a limitation of the Twitch platform, but a decision made to help us better secure the systems. In a real SaaS deployment where consumers are paying for hosting services, all Maya functionalities would be enabled.
