"The Two Russian Revolutions". Images from 1917-21 and 1991 are juxtaposed against an audio backdrop of the first two and the final pieces from Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana". "Rota tu volubilis" in Latin means "the wheel turns again".

Note: The image of the poster portraying Trotsky as a "red devil" is included for historical verisimilitude only. I do NOT advocate anti-Semitism, nor do I find it congenial.

  • Good video... Here in America we have fallen into the glutton's dream that Revolution is a praxis of the past. One day, we shall be awakened by the great truth that no matter the technological advancement of the government, the people's will can rule again. America needs a revolution.

  • I would not go that far as to say that America needs a Revolution, but there needs to be change.

  • This is one of the most tremedous pieces! It is absolutely wonderful that Orff could compose music to these poems and capture such emotion! It is awe inspiring, so much similar to my life at times and then the climactic ending!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • As one having borzois, considering most of the breed was distroyed as associated with the Tsars I love the video..
